Al-Khor:  Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) launched its Guest Speaker series for the academic year, welcoming Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al-Thani to talk to students about what it takes to “Follow your dreams”.  The talk formed part of the school’s provision for Qatar History; with Sheikh Moe being the first Qatari to stand on top of Mount Everest, he really is history personified! Moe’s aim is to inspire and motivate students to plan for their own success, through hearing his incredible story.

The visit by ‘Moe The Mountaineer’ provided an opportunity for students to consider their own goals and ambitions. Students completed a goal setting activity, and also had the opportunity to ask questions. It will be interesting to see how many NAISAK students make Everest their goal after this inspiring talk!
