Eighteen budding footballers from the Absolute Sports Academy are all set to have the experience of a lifetime this summer when they travel to Armenia for a week-long exposure trip.

The youngsters from Absolute's U15 and U10 teams will take part in the Vanadzor Summer Cup in Yerevan, Armenia which will be held between July 7 and 13. The tournament, which is being held in coordination with the Football Federation of Armenia, will see the Absolute teams go head to head with international opponents from three different countries in a competitive atmosphere.

Experienced coaches with UEFA License will accompany the teams on the trip to Armenia. Hayk Hakobyan will take charge of the U10 team and U15 team.

"The children are very excited about the trip. It's an exposure trip that will help not just their football skills but also their personal growth. Many of them are travelling outside the country for a trip like for the first time," said Hamza C V, an official of Absolute Sports Academy.

Hamza also pointed out that the group has a number of talented players, including 14-year-old Shyansu Bunsal, who has already played for senior Nepalese team in the recently concluded Asian Communities Football Tournament in Qatar.

In addition to the footballing activities, the exposure trip will give the kids a chance to see the sights of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. The group will also meet up with members of the Indian expatriate community in the country.

Absolute has had a good record playing abroad, having won the Dubai Super Cup in 2016 with its U15 team.
