Doha: The three-day Losail Karting Experience drew to a close at Losail International Circuit on Wednesday, but those who missed the event need not fret.
Another edition of the Losail Karting Experience is scheduled to be held from June 30 to July 2 and it will be open for all.
Thanks to the Losail Children Academy, young kids can also participate in motorsport with quads and pocket bikes and have fun in a friendly atmosphere in a small track.
LIC General Manager and QMMF President Nasser bin Khalifa Al Attiyah was very happy with the start and the positive feedback of the launch of the karting track.
“We are very happy with the start of karting and the culture of this activity here at Losail. For sure this is a great move for the QMMF...We think that the karting is the main foundation for the motorsport where we can discover new talent for the future. We will touch many different projects, from education matters , road and safety and give the message to society that we can educate young kids here,” he said.
“We have many goals we need to reach and for sure one day we will have good collaboration with society, companies, the government and schools to have more education in this field,” Al Attiyah added.
