Four Qatari players enter second round

Doha: Recently crowned Asian Snooker champion Mohammed Saleh of Afghanistan, current world champion Muhammad Asif of Pakistan and Amir Sarkhosh of Iran topped their respective groups to qualify for the pre-quarter-final stage of the Second 6-Red Asian Snooker Championship. 

Yesterday at the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation Hall, the hosts has something to cheer about as four Qatari players also made it to the next stage.  Among the local players who made it to the next round were the Obaidly brothers Ali and Mohanna, who will clash in one of the eight matches due to take place in the morning session.   Ahmed Saif, who last week qualified to play on the professional circuit, also made it to the next stage.
