QSL and Indian Sports Centre tie up in promoting football

The Indian Sports Centre (ISC), an apex body functioning under the patronage of Embassy of India, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Stars League (QSL) to promote football among all sections of the community.

DOHA: The Indian Sports Centre (ISC), an apex body functioning under the patronage of Embassy of India, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Stars League (QSL) to promote football among all sections of the community. 

A delegation from Indian Sports Centre comprising of its President, Nilangshu  Dey;  General Secretary Mohd Habibun Nabi and Head of Football Ummer Kutty visited QSL office at Al Bida Tower to sign the MoU with QSL, headed by Hassan Al Kuwari, Acting Executive Director and Nasser Mubarak Al- Kuwari, Community Relations Head. 

In view of the said MoU, Indian Sports Centre agreed to support QSL in popularising the Football Stars League among the various Indian Schools and organisations in line with Qatar’s National vision. 

On his deliberation, Hassan Al Kuwari of QSL, highly appreciated such initiative taken by the Indian community to promote football among the students of all 14 Indian Schools and various organisations. 

They highlighted that the tie-up can bring various star sports club of Qatar nearer to the Indian community.
