Weather bureau forecasts windy and dusty day

DOHA: It will be a windy and dusty day today at several places, the weather bureau said in its routine forecast. Northerly to northwesterly wind will be moving at speeds of 10 to 20 to 25 knots an hour at places at times. The day will be partly cloudy, with slight to blowing dust hanging in the air kicked up by high winds inland. 
There is a weak chance of light rains in the north of the country. Day temperatures will slide by a few degrees Celsius, with the maximum ranging from 18 to 22 degrees. Abu Samra will be the coldest with the mercury falling to 14 degrees at night and the day temperature being 18 degrees. In Doha, the maximum and minimum temperatures forecast are 22 and 19 degrees, respectively. Messaieed and Al Wakrah will also witness similar weather conditions.
In Al Khor the nightly temperature will be 17 degrees while during the day the mercury will rise to 21 degrees. In Dukhan the maximum temperature forecast for today is 19 degrees  while the minimum will be 17. In Al Ruwais the day temperature expected is 20 degrees while the mercury will be dropping only marginally to 18 at night.  Visibility will be affected due to dusty weather conditions and will initially be three km or less at places at times, gradually improving to four to eight km, according to the bureau.
The sea will be rough and waves could rise up to seven to 10 feet in the deep seas. The sea wouldn’t be so much wavy near the shores. The wind offshore will be northwesterly moving at speeds of 20 to 29 knots. The sunrise will be at 6.19 and the sunset at 5.13, the forecast said.
