Riyadh: The State of Qatar participated on Thursday in the meeting of the 41st ordinary session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Minister of Social Development and Family H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad chaired the State of Qatar’s delegation to the meeting.
The meeting discussed the social and humanitarian repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, topics related to the competence of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs within the framework of the upcoming Arab Summit, and follow-up to the implementation of the social dimensions of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
The agenda also included other items, including providing support for social projects and some issues related to the family and childhood.
