The State of Qatar condemned the explosion which targeted a mosque in North Sinai and led to the death of and injuries to dozens of people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed in a statement released yesterday its firm position against violence and terrorism regardless of its motives. The statement also stressed Qatar’s rejection of targeting of places of worship and terrorising peaceful civilians. The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims and the Egyptian people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Qatar also expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that targeted a gathering in the city of Jalalabad in eastern Afghanistan that left a number of people killed and injured. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar’s firm stance in rejection of violence and terrorism whatever their motives and causes were. The statement voiced the State of Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims as well as the government and people of Afghanistan. It also wished speedy recovery to the wounded.
