Doha: Guardian Wealth Management has increased their sponsorship and support of competitions and events at Doha Golf Club (DGC), by signing up for a fifth consecutive year and adding to the format of previous years, it was announced here.
Chris Myers, General Manager of DGC, said: “It’s great to have companies like Guardian Wealth on board, who consistently increase their support of the club year after year. This is now the fifth year that Guardian have sponsored the monthly medal and they will be hosting some excellent events in 2014 both on and off the course.”
David Russell, CEO of GWM Qatar said he was delighted to have his company associated with such a wonderful establishment.
“As part of our new agreement, GWM will also be hosting four charity events at the ‘On the Green’ hospitality suite throughout the year, after our incredibly popular Evening with Kyran Bracken in October. Andy Gray and Richard Keys from Al Jazeera Sports will be hosting an event with us early next year and you may well see a few familiar faces from football’s yesteryear joining us on our corporate slots on a Thursday afternoon on the Academy course,” said Russell.
Will Myers, Head of Sports Marketing at GWM Qatar said: “Through our goal of making the GWM brand synonymous with sport in Qatar, we will also be hosting a ‘Doha select vs Dukhan select’ tournament, which will see players from each club competing against each other.”
