DOHA: HSBC invested in upgrading its ATM network across the country as part of a drive to improve the service offering for customers using direct channels. All ATMs situated in the branches located across Salwa Road, City Center and the main office in Al Matar street have also been upgraded with newer technologies.
“Customers are increasingly transacting on direct channels rather than visiting a branch. Our upgraded ATM platform will enhance the customer experience and will make it easier for customers to do multiple transactions on ATMs instead of visiting the branch for simple requirements,” said Omar Al Ansari (pictured), Head of Distribution, Retail Banking & Wealth Management.
The investment is part of a wider digitisation strategy at HSBC that aims to apply technology and innovation to banking to make customers’ experiences simpler, better, faster and more secure.
