DOHA: Minister of Finance HE Ali Shareef Al Emadi honored 32 'Kawader' graduates in the program's Third Cohort. The honoring took place during a graduation ceremony held by Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA).

This year, 'Kawader' Third Cohort featured 32 young Qataris who have recently graduated and are eager to take on leadership roles in the country’s financial services sector.

During the ceremony, the minister congratulated the students on their great accomplishment and encouraged the industry to continue supporting 'Kawader' as part of the industry's responsibility towards developing Qatar's human capital.

Dr Abdulaziz Al Horr, CEO of QFBA, said in a speech: "We congratulate every graduate on the completion of Kawader Program. We also congratulate the industry for playing big role in sponsoring and hosting Kawader program this year." He added: we ask everyone to get ready for the career excursion and work towards excellence".

Since 2013, QFBA, in partnership with the Qatar Financial Center (QFC) Authority, has strategically invested massive resources to develop Qatar’s financial services industry through its Kawader training program. In 2015 the program evolved to become industry sponsored program.
