Oslo: The special envoys of the European Union, the United States of America and the State of Qatar held a meeting with the Afghan caretaker government, in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, on the political, security, humanitarian and economic situation in Afghanistan.
The delegation of the State of Qatar to the meeting was headed Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution H E Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani. On the sidelines of the meeting, Al Qahtani also met separately with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Afghan Caretaker Government H E Amir Khan Muttaqi and the US Special Envoy for Afghanistan Thomas West to discuss matters of common interest.
