Some parts of the country witnessed light rain accompanied with cold winds. Residents woke up to a cloudy morning yesterday and most part of the country felt chill in the air that signaled the onset of winter.
Weather is likely to remain same today, according to Qatar Meteorology Department. Some parts of the country are expected to witness rain today as the department has forecast partly cloudy weather with a chance of scattered rain. Mercury is likely to fall further in coming days.  The department, on Monday, had said that minimum temperatures could drop below 15 degrees celsius  in central and southern areas in the country this week.
