Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Law No. 7 of 2016 amending some provisions of the Military Service Decree Law No. 31 of 2006.
The law states that a military personnel can take special leave in accordance with Article 69 if he is accompanying a state envoy on an official mission, or to attend a training course or study abroad.
The law is effective from its implementation and date of publication in the official gazette.
