Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Decree No. 36 of 2016, ratifying an agreement between Central American Integration System and Qatar on Qatar’s accession to SICA as an observer member. The deal was signed in Belize City on December 16, 2014, and takes the force of law in line with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir also issued Decree No. 37 of 2016, ratifying a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of information technology and communications between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and South Korea’s Ministry of Science, Information and Communication Technology, and Future Planning. It was signed in Seoul on November 5, 2014 and takes the force of law in line with Article 68 of the Constitution.
