WachauerFolkstanzgruppe came from the beautiful Austrian region ‘Wachau’ which has been on the Unesco World Heritage List since 2001. Their hometown Kerms-Stein is more than 1,000 years old. The old lanes, homes, churches, abbeys, the river Danube and vineyard terraces make the region very picturesque. Kerms- Stein is about 880km west of Austria’s capital city Vienna.
The festival continues to amuse Katara visitors until May with the participation of over 20 countries from all over the world which will showcase their traditions and heritage.
