Qatar fencing team claimed the gold medal in the foil team event at the ongoing Arab Fencing Championship in Manama, Bahrain, yesterday. The victorious team consisted of Ali Turki Al Wajhan, Abdulla Ismael and Khalid Aref. On Wednesday, the epee team secured a gold medal after a thrilling 45-40 victory over Saudi Arabia in the final. Additionally, Ali Turki Awaidah contributed to Qatar’s medal tally with a silver in the men’s individual foil event.
