Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the winners in the 2021-2022 edition of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance at the level of the GCC countries from the State of Qatar.
The winners from Qatar include Abdullah Abdulrahim Ibrahim Hassan Al Janahi and Al Jouri Maashi Ruwiki Al Qaiqai Al Ruwaili in the Outstanding Student Award, while Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys won the Outstanding School Award.
Commenting on the occasion, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Fawzia Al Khater expressed pride in the accomplishment of the Qatari students, and congratulated the management and cadre of Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys, noting that this achievement is not new for Qatari school students who always achieve advanced positions and impressive results in all their participation.
She underlined that the accomplishment reflects the Ministry’s keenness in participating in competitions to enhance the intellectual and competitive skills.
