A joint initiative between the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) and Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), Save the dream, is set to launch its global chapters in 2017.
Save the Dream has organised a variety of projects and activities in Qatar and around the world to give the youth opportunity to experience sport, learn about the positive values it can teach and use it as a tool to restore hope and create new opportunities.
The initiative is rapidly expanding as a global movement to empower youth through safe access to sport and to its educational and social values with the announcement of the creation of a network of local chapters around the world.
“The promotion of the chapters is an important strategic development for Save the Dream, including input from our new CEO Michael Hershman, co-founder of Transparency International, an organisation which counts today over 100 chapters around the world. Since we began speaking to our partners about the concept of chapters we have been overwhelmed by the level of interest,” said Mohammed Hanzab, President of ICSS and Founder of Save the Dream.
Representatives from over 10 nations have shown interest in starting a chapter.
