Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) has announced the continuation of registration for its annual Future Riders Summer Programme, set to take place from July 1 to August 31 at the Federation’s headquarters.

Open to children aged 4 to 17 and women of all ages, this year’s program features a flexible and well-structured schedule, offering two morning training sessions per week from 8:30 am to 11:30am. The initiative is designed to expand community participation and provide a welcoming environment for all.

The programme offers a rich and diverse curriculum, including horseback riding fundamentals, balance and flexibility-enhancing sports activities, and workshops on horse care and equine behaviour. Participants will also enjoy recreational and creative activities such as drawing, photography, and story writing, adding a unique and engaging dimension to the experience.

To register, participants must visit the Future Knights School headquarters to collect the registration form from the reception. Required documents include a completed medical check-up, a personal photograph, a copy of a valid ID, and payment of the registration fee based on the participant’s age group.

Abdullah Al Marri, Director of the Qatar Equestrian Teams and supervisor of the programme, emphasised that the initiative offers a valuable opportunity for youth to learn horseback riding in a safe and supportive environment.

“The camp aims to attract participants across all age groups while enhancing their equestrian skills under the guidance of experienced trainers,” he noted.

“It seeks to promote equestrianism within the community and instill a lifelong passion for this heritage sport among the younger generation.”
