Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received HE Guido Crosetto, Minister of Defense of the friendly Italian Republic, and his accompanying delegation at Amiri Diwan today, April 23, 2026, on the occasion of their visit to the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed regional and international developments, particularly those pertaining to the Middle East and their repercussions on the region.
They also discussed bilateral cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Italian Republic, especially in the fields of defense and military cooperation, and explored mechanisms for developing and strengthening this cooperation.
