Doha: The Criminal Investigation Department nabbed an individual for slashing tyres of several parked vehicles.
The investigation department said that the person has been arrested for damaging the tyres of a number of cars in the Muaither area. It further said that the man has been referred to the public prosecution and legal action will be taken against him.
This came to light when a video of several parked cars with their tyres destroyed using a sharp object, was shared on social media on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Later on, CCTV footage showed an unknown person slashing the tyres of several cars at night in the neighbourhood.
