Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences to President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the assassination of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov, who was murdered on Monday.
The Emir also expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the criminal attack on the Ambassador, stressing Qatar's firm position that rejects violence and terrorism in all their forms, whatever their motives and causes.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani have also sent similar cables.
