St. Petersburg: Qatar News Agency (QNA) signed with its Vietnamese counterpart an agreement to enhance cooperation in the field of news and expertise exchange to serve their mutual goals. This agreement was singed on the sidelines of the19th General Assembly of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), held in the Russian city of St. Petersburg.
The agreement was signed by Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi and General Director of Vietnam News Agency (VNA) Vu Viet Trang.
The agreement covers several areas, including the exchange of news and media material such as news items, reports, and bulletins, as well as technical cooperation, particularly regrading the transmission and reception means available to each agency, with the aim of providing the best services.
Director-General of QNA Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi affirmed the importance of enhancing cooperation with VNA, pointing out that this deal will mark the beginning of a strong partnership between the two agencies.
