“Hour and Hour” celebrates Qatar National Day

Doha, Qatar: The “Hour and Hour” program organized a Qatar National Day celebration on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Lusail Boulevard, under the slogan “Our Identity Lies in Our Heritage.”

The event highlighted Qatari heritage and culture, embodied the spirit of national identity, and included several segments targeting various segments of society.

The event witnessed a large turnout from the audience, who interacted with the segments, especially children who received messages of love for the homeland and the reinforcement of national identity through the activities.Visitors from different groups enjoyed a variety of heritage and artistic events and activities that reflected the atmosphere of National Day, starting with the national anthem and a military parade performed by a group of students, followed by a poetry segment presented by the poet Hamad Al Habouna.

The events also included the Ardah performance and Qatari chants, and a cultural competition segment under the slogan “Think and Answer” presented by media personality Khalifa Al-Rumaihi, and an operetta “Qatar’s Flowers” performed by poet Fada Al-Hil and a group of female students.

In this regard, CEO of the "Hour and Hour" program, Tamani Al Yafie said: "National Day is an opportunity to express belonging to the homeland and pride in the national identity. The program's activities on this occasion are part of our duty towards our country and an expression from us that this day reminds us of Qatar's ancient past, allowing us to recall the great achievements that have been made at all levels."She added: "National Day represents an occasion that is renewed annually to express loyalty, belonging, and solidarity behind the wise leadership, and to renew the pledge to exert more work and efforts for the elevation and prosperity of the State of Qatar."

Al-Yafei continued: "Through these events, we have contributed by presenting a group of students who possess acting talents, skills in recitation and artistic performance, and related skills such as media presentation to the public."
