Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of Mercedes vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of 2020-2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class vehicles, as the software of the airbag control unit does not match factory specification.
The Ministry said the recall campaign came within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The Ministry said that it would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and would communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs were carried out.
The Ministry urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Combatting Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquires and suggestions through the Call Center: 16001 or Email: [email protected]
