The Municipal and Environmental Research Center of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture at the Ministry, organised a three-day training course from August 13 to 15. As many as 17 trainees, including agricultural engineers and inspectors, attended the programme under the theme “Specifications of agricultural inputs and assessment of their quality in agricultural quarantine”. Sameir Al Atbi, from the Department of Agriculture, was the trainer. The course aimed to build capacities of the staff working in different border checkpoints, airports and ports.
