Gaano Ki Queen 2018 Award Felicitation by ONE FM to Neha Kakkar in Qatar.
DOHA: Live concert of Neha Kakkar was recently organized by 89.6 ONE FM which attracted a full house crowd at Ali Bin Hamad AI Attiyah Arena.
This concert was the first edition of the best in Live Music to Doha. This was also a start of the first anniversary celebrations of 89.6 ONE FM Qatar which is a 100% Qatari Hindi Radio Station.
89.6 ONE FM launched its new brand ONE FM LIVE, which will feature live concerts on a regular basis. Neha Kakkar live concert was the first of its series as part of ONE FM LIVE brand.
The concert was a prelude to the year of Qatar-India Year of Culture 2019. It was the first of its edition to the many joint events happening next year in both Qatar and India. The concert attracted more than 4,000 people at the venue.
Bollywood playback singer Neha Kakkar chooses to define her journey in the industry as a mix of hard work and luck. She never formally trained in music and yet managed to carve her own success story.
Kakkar, who had her first brush with fame during her Indian Idol stint in 2006 has several chart busters to her credit, such as DhatingNaach (Phata Poster Nikhla Hero), London Thumakda (Queen) and Manali Trance (The Shaukeens).

Talking to The Peninsula, Neha Kakkar said: “It is my first visit to Doha and I am completely in love with its hospitality and the love I received from all of my fans and ONE FM’s team. It has been very long I have been waiting to pay a visit to Doha and now it has happened. During my short visit I will be able to explore Qatar as well. I have been suggested to shoot my music videos here too.”
Kakkar further added :“I came to Doha with my entire team which includes my band, makeup artist, assistant; this makes fifteen people in total. I always do concerts with one motto to make my fans fall in love with their family all over again. I believe that love is the only power that makes you more pure.”
Kakkar thanked ONE FM 89.6 (Qatar Ki Dhadkan) for hosting amazing concert as well planning a pleasant stay for her and her entire team. “Receiving love and prayers from thousands of people here in Qatar made me fall in love with this country,” she said.
Commenting on the success of the event, Naveed Abdulla, CEO at 89.6 ONE FM Qatar said: “I am honored to see this attendance today. We were expecting 4000 plus people and we were happy to have received much more that our expectation; a full-house packed crowd. They are the fans that have filled Neha’s heart with more love and enthusiasm.”
“Neha was crowned during the event as ‘Gaano Ki Queen 2018’ by Indian Ambassador to Qatar P Kumaran and the Qatari music legend Ali Abdul Sattar. The Gaano Ki Queen award will be a yearly affair where 89.6 ONE FM will award popular female singers every year in association with ONE FM LIVE AND ITS PARTNERS.
“We will host these concerts on a regular basis, we hope to receive more love from the up-coming events and endless support from all our sponsors who made this event possible,” Naveed Abdulla added.
He added that they were extremely thankful for the endless support from the Ministry of Culture and Sports and all the team members of National Tourism Council.
