At the recently held Hospitality Qatar 2017 Salon Culinaire, Holiday Villa Hotel & Residence bagged the Champion Mocktail Award with the Pink Queen Bulb.
Kafe Ole’s Phyu Thu from Myanmar, guided by his mentor Norazlina Abdullah, created an exceptionally blended strawberry, lemon and Tonino Lamborhini with a tinge of grenadine syrup that brings a bursting tingly fruity sour taste into the judges’ meticulously particular palettes.
Uniquely served inside an enlarged light bulb, the mocktail is pristinely separated from watery impurities while it rests on shaved ice.
Restaurant Manager Norazlina Abdullah said, “Our aim is to bring an overall amazing experience into the competition. From the preparation, drink mix to the presentation, everything was choreographed to deliver an experience.”
The Pink Queen Bulb indeed brought the reigning mocktail that took home the gold.
