Minister of Labour H E Dr Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri met with Director-General of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) H E Gilbert F Houngbo during the Global Fair Recruitment Initiative Conference in Geneva. The meeting reviewed the progress of the ongoing technical cooperation between Qatar and the ILO, with both sides highlighting key achievements and discussing prospects for deepening institutional collaboration in the period ahead. Al Marri also met with Minister of Labour, Jobs, and Employment of Ghana H E Dr Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo during conference. The two ministers discussed avenues to enhance cooperation in the labour sector.
