Doha: After the overwhelming response to the last session, Galeries Lafayette Doha once again organized a meet-and-greet session with Nigerian fashion designer Banke Kuku recently.
The event was also a platform for launching her latest collection of occasion loungewear, exclusive jalabiyas and kaftans.
Supported by the Embassy of Nigeria in Doha, the meet-and-greet session was attended by Ambassador H E Yakubu Abdullahi Ahmed, members of the Nigerian community and the general public.
The session was organized in Galeries Lafayette’s women’s section on the first floor where the incredible collection was showcased by a model.
The creations of the Lagos-based fashion designer are inspired from Nigerian fashion with a Middle Eastern twist.
