DOHA: Department for Licensing and Market Monitoring has conducted more than 24,300 inspections in a campaign against commercial outlets and booked 537 violations in 2015.
The department has received more than 1,103 complaints on the hotline, email and through SMS messages.
In the same context, the concerned authorities at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce has intended to increase monitoring on distribution centres in Al Furjan Markets and to develop electronic services for beneficiaries and to apply purchasing and payment system by using smart phones.
