Tokyo - Tokyo stocks rose 0.32 percent Friday morning, extending gains after closing at a 15-year high in the previous session while investors await crucial talks on Greece's debt later in the day.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange added 58.38 points to 18,323.17 by the break.
The Topix index of all first-section issues was up 0.16 percent, or 2.36 points, at 1,497.29.
