London: Irish no-frills airline Ryanair has reached a settlement with Internet giant Google and travel agent eDreams, it said Thursday, ending a two-year legal battle over online advertising.
"Ryanair, Google and eDreams today confirmed that they have reached a settlement to end legal proceedings between the three parties which have been ongoing since 2015," the Irish carrier said in a statement.
"Ryanair, Google and eDreams have now reached a resolution, which will benefit consumers across Europe.
"The conditions of this settlement remain confidential between the parties."
The group had launched Irish High Court proceedings against Google and eDreams two years ago, accusing them of misleading customers and not offering the best deal.
The budget airline had said Google was not providing true Ryanair prices and claimed that eDreams was creating websites including the word "Ryanair" to mislead customers.
