Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has officially reopened Dahl Al Hamam Park, one of the most prominent public parks in Qatar, following the completion of comprehensive renovation and redevelopment works.
Located within the Doha Municipality jurisdiction, the park has been upgraded in coordination with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), in line with the highest international standards.
This major revitalization effort is part of the Ministry’s 2024–2030 strategic plan and directly supports the Qatar National Vision 2030, aiming to expand green spaces, enhance quality of life, and provide a sustainable and healthy environment for citizens and residents alike.
The renewed Dahl Al Hamam Park now boasts a wide range of recreational and community facilities, including:
• Four designated children’s play areas
• An outdoor amphitheater known as Dahl Al Hamam Theater, with a seating capacity of approximately 900 people
• A celebration area and a multi-purpose hall for community events and gatherings
• A 390-metre jogging track
• Three outdoor fitness zones
• A basketball court
• Three food and beverage kiosks, along with a fully equipped café
• 220 parking spaces to accommodate visitors
To ensure inclusivity and accessibility, the park is equipped with:
• Separate prayer rooms for men and women
• A dedicated administrative building for park management and maintenance
• Facilities designed for persons with disabilities, ensuring easy access and movement
Additional amenities include numerous family seating areas spread throughout the park, modern sanitation facilities, a dedicated irrigation water tank, and an on-site power station to ensure uninterrupted services. The park is also equipped with three solar-powered charging stations, reinforcing its eco-friendly profile.
With its upgraded infrastructure and expanded services, Dahl Al Hamam Park is set to become a premier destination for family outings, social events, and nature-based recreation in the heart of Doha.
