Education Ministry issues performance reports of schools

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has issued performance ID reports of 316 government and private schools which took part in the Comprehensive Educational Survey 2015/2016. The performance ID is prepared on the basis of national and international tests results, and analysis of the educational poll annually conducted by the Evaluation Department.

Qatari parents' responses to fill the questionnaire counted 45.7 percent, and non-Qatari parents 51.5 percent. The survey includes several indicators such as parents’ satisfaction of Primary schools which reached 85%, Preparatory at 83% and Secondary 81%. 

On extra-curricular activities, Primary schools stood at 69%, Preparatory 65% and Secondary 59.8% and on communication of schools with parents and families, the Primary reached 78%, Preparatory 76% and Secondary 73%. 

In the students' satisfaction, primary reached 78%, Preparatory 70% and Secondary 67% and student’s average in class room reached -- primary 21 Preparatory and Secondary 22 students. Teachers average per schools primary reached at 67% Preparatory 71% and Secondary 75%. The school performance ID for Independent and Private schools is published in Arabic Language while the international schools ID is in English.
