PARIS--Europe's main stock markets closed higher on Monday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rising 0.54 percent to end the day at 6,585.53 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0.73 percent to close at a new record high of 10.242,35 points while the CAC 40 in Paris gained 0.35 percent to 4,394.93 points.
