To express loyalty to the homeland and sincerity and love for Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) yesterday launched Tamim Al Majd mural at its main branch at the Grand Hamad Street.
The launch ceremony was attended by Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman and Managing Director of QIIB, and Jamal Abdullah Al Jamal, Deputy CEO of QIIB.
The employees of the bank expressed their loyalty and love for the Emir by signing on the image and writing messages expressing their love for the homeland.
The participants stressed that Qatar will remain precious for them and deserves a lot of efforts from residents to make it more prosperous under the wise leadership of the Emir.
“Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani embodies the will of Qatari people who see in his leadership all meanings of dignity and pride. The crisis has showed the real character of Qataris and these wonderful initiatives reflect how much Qataris love their leader,” said Al Thani.
He also stressed that “our loyalty to Emir requires from us to work more and to increase the pace of growth in all fields”, he said.
“This unjust siege which is imposed on Qatar came as a result of its good positions towards Arab and Muslims issues across the world. Due to the wise leadership and unity among people and the government, all efforts of blockading countries against Qatar have failed,” he added.
He also said that “we will prove that the blockade has been a total failure by working more and innovating solutions in order to overcome all obstacles”. Al Jamal said after signing on the mural:
“Launch of this mural is to express our loyalty to Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is our symbol and leader. He added: “Standing with the homeland requires from us more efforts to further develop our economy and not give an opportunity to others to affect it”.
