Doha: The Qatar alumnus of TKM Engineering College in the southern Indian state of Kerala, will hold ‘Sports and Family Fun Day’ on April 20, Friday, from 7.30am to 6pm at Al Jazeera Academy in Abu Hamour.
The Alumni members will participate in over 60 different sports and fun-filled events. About 250 families are expected to attend the event. The Tennis and volleyball teams representing the alumni association will be felicitated for their excellent performances in the local tournaments.
Nishad Abdul Rahim, President of TKM Alumni, said: “This event welcomes and encourages families to come together for an all-inclusive family fun day that aims at creating a healthy and sportive lifestyle for alumni families to thrive”.
Tecton Construction is the Main Sponsor for the event which will be co-sponsored by Confident Trading & Contracting Enterprises, Zaitoon Restaurant and ADASTRA. Al Abeer Medical Centre team will provide free medical checkup at the venue, said Event Convenor, Shiyad Abdul Rahim, and Sports Secretary, Salim Abubacker.
