The richness of Indian culture can be witnessed by visiting a blog -- IamGazal, which is run by Gazal, an Indian photographer and fashion designer, since 2014.
The blog has touched countless Indian hearts in Qatar, because of its creative writing, excellent reviews and touch of beautiful photography.
Her blog is becoming popular in Qatar and abroad through the platform of her Instagram account. Gazal has been working since four years as a blogger in Doha.
Starting with ‘GAZALVOUGE’ and turning into IamGazal is a beautiful journey of Gazal. During an Interview with The Peninsula, Gazal said: “My prime focus is not just to promote fashion and lifestyle via my blog, I want people to become the better version of themselves and that is why I timely update about my experience and knowledge. One should not be dependent on just materialistic needs, but also family and self growth is important.”
Gazal used to post her travelling and styling photos on her Instagram account and gradually started being noticed by people from Qatar who liked her styling and the way she captured her photos, which resulted in 166k followers on her account.
“I started loving what I was doing and the kind of response I was getting. That is when I thought of taking it to professional level and invested my time to find out the ways where my work can look more professional and appealing to the audience, this is how my blogging began,” said Gazal while describing how she first got into blogging.
Having a fashion background and being updated about styling before even she started her fashion designing, she has a good sense of colour combination which helps her to get noticed by renown brands.
Sharing her strengths in blogging she told The Peninsula that she had a habit of waking up early in the morning where she always had enough time to write articles and plan her shoots which made her everyday work very easy.
“I also like to learn new things, which helped me to learn photography, videography and editing which is the most essential part in blogging world.”
Gazal has a very simple and elegant blog. If you are somebody who likes effortless style and simple living then IamGazal is the perfect blog to get your hands and eyes on. “I also post frequently about Indian fashion and places in India which reflects my love towards my culture,” she added.
When Gazal started blogging in Qatar there were not many Indian fashion bloggers. So whenever Indians based in GCC or Qatar would come across her blog they would follow her and always write a note to her, mentioning that they feel proud of her. Gazal says: “Some of them leave a thank you note to me after reading my blog specially where I share my thoughts and views which has boosted their confidence and cleared many of their doubts which they generally see after moving to an Arab country.”
Telling about the proudest achievement, Gazal said: “ ‘It is my blog IAMGAZAL, my blog has given me the platform where I can flaunt what I liked the most. It has given me the power of speaking my mind and sharing my thoughts with thousands of people. Through this blog I got to know so many people who are at the other side of the mobile and have amazing and inspiring stories to share with me.”
Discussing about the flawless photography on her blog, Gazal said: “It is never one person, I always work with new photographers. Sometimes I do my own photography. I have learnt it from my husband who is an amazing photographer but due to his work commitment, he hardly gets time to continue with his hobby.”
Gazal has collaborated with many brands like, Rolls Royce, Massimo Dutti, Victoria Secrets, Master Card, Hyundai, Versace perfumes and many more. Gazal enjoys interaction with people on her blog. Specially who are extremely supportive for her.
