DOHA: The Ministry of Sports and Youth (MSY) has officially launched its new smartphone application, “Shabab Ladam”, during a press conference held at Lusail Multipurpose Hall. The event was attended by ministry representatives, youth leaders and members of youth centres.
The app, developed by the Department of Youth Affairs’ Centers and Organizations Division in cooperation with relevant departments within the Ministry, is designed to strengthen communication between young people and youth institutions. It offers a comprehensive digital platform for accessing events, programmes, services, and news across Qatar.
Project Director Abdullah Ahmed Al-Kaabi presented a detailed overview of the app’s features.
In his opening remarks, Mubarak Juthain Al-Dosari, Head of the Centers and Youth Organizations Division, highlighted the app’s significance in bridging the gap between youth and centres, stating that “Shabab Ledam is a strategic step toward empowering youth and facilitating their interaction with relevant institutions.”
Fawaz Abdullah Al-Misferi, Director of the Youth Affairs Department, emphasised that the app aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to digital transformation as a key enabler of youth engagement.
