National Reading Campaign events in the evening will include a Book Hangout, where children can dress up as their favourite storybook characters and act out specific scenes; bookmark-making sessions; games and oversized puzzles. The public is also invited to join in the festivities and enjoy traditional songs and games such as Gaiss, Sack races, Dahouri, Tak taqieh and other fun family activities.
By hosting meaningful activities and celebrations for the entire community throughout the year, QF is prioritising community development in efforts to support and enhance Qatar’s cultural life and protect its heritage.
