Qatargas honours 677 employees for long-service

Qatargas, the largest producer of LNG in the world, recently recognised its 677 employees at the annual Long Service Award and Shukran Award Ceremony. The Long Service Award recognises employees for their dedicated long-term service to the Company, and the Shukran Award recognises outstanding achievements by Qatargas employees.

Commenting on the awards, Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer, Qatargas, said: “It is a great pleasure to congratulate all of you who are here to receive the Shukran Award. Qatargas has a rich history of recognising exceptional performance, and I am delighted to present this award in recognition of your outstanding contribution towards achieving the Company’s business goals.”

He added:  “I would also like to take this opportunity to say my personal ‘shukran’ to all of you, and encourage you to keep up this high level of performance. I would also like to congratulate all of you who have received a Long Service Award. This award is a reflection of your hard work, professionalism and valued contribution, all of which has been instrumental in making Qatargas what it is today – the World’s Premier LNG Company.”
During the ceremony, 179 Qatargas employees received the Shukran Award in recognition of their exceptional performance in 2016. In addition, 498 employees received a Long Service Award in acknowledgement of their service and contribution to the success of Qatargas over the years.
