The team that makes less number of mistakes will prevail in the Emir Cup final, Al Rayyan's experienced midfielder Musab Kheder said.
Former champions Al Rayyan take on Doha giants Al Sadd in the final of the Emir Cup, the country's most popular football championship.
The final will be played at the refurbished Khalifa International Stadium.
"I have played three finals before and I know how difficult the final is," Musab, 24, said in an interview.
"What we hope to do is to reduce the number of mistakes we make. I would say that was the reason why we lost in the AFC Champions League," he added.
"The game will be tough for the two teams since it is the final and it is difficult to predict the outcome of a match of this stature," he added.
The former Al Sadd player said that he is keen to nail a title with current employers Al Rayyan.
"I wish to win the title with Al Rayyan after having won the Emir Cup with Al Sadd twice. I want to wrap up the season on a winning note before I leave Al Rayyan," Musab said.
"I hope to win this event for the fans who are always behind us. They are our main backers," Musab said.
"We have not won anything for our fans (this season) and I hope we could win this title for our devoted fans," he said.
Musab said that he had hoped to reach the last 16 of the AFC Champions League or win a title with Al Rayyan before moving on for the new season.
He said now the Emir Cup has his 'complete attention'.
Al Rayyan striker Saud Farhan Al Enazi said the team is focused on winning the title.
"We didn't have a great season since we did not win a title nor did we advance in the Asian Champions League," Al Enazi said.
"I think now we have a great opportunity to lift the title since we are fully focused on this one game before our season ends," he said.
Al Enazi said Al Sadd could never be taken lightly.
"It will be a difficult assignment for the players since Al Sadd are a strong side. Al Sadd is a big and experienced team and has top players," the Al Rayyan forward said.
"However, I would add that Al Rayyan is ready for this match," he warned.
"I hope the Al Rayyan fans turn up in large numbers," he said.
"Our fans have a huge role to play," he said with a smile.
"I hope they fill up the stands, like how they did during every game for us," he said.
"Al Rayyan fans are always number one for the players and we to give them this gift," he said.
Al Rayyan player Abdulrahman Al Karbi said he expects a feisty contest.
"The final matches are always difficult. They are very important to the teams. We too will fight for this honour," Al Karbi said.
Al Karbi echoed team-mate El Enazi's sentiments when he said: "The support from our fans has been incredible. I doubt if there is another team with such loyal fans. They are our strength."
He added: "I think the role of the fans will be very big in the final since we aspire to end the season with a trophy. If we win, that will help us compensate our fans for not winning a trophy this season."
