DOHA/NEW DELHI: Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), India’s oldest and largest apex trade and industry body is organising an international conference-cum-exhibition titled “Global R&D Summit 2013 – Destination India” in New Delhi from July 25 to 26, a press statement issued by the Indian Embassy here said yesterday.
The two-day event will host local and global institutions, academia and industry that constitute the research and development (R&D) ecosystem.
The summit will be accompanied by a concurrent exhibition to showcase innovative and successful R&D projects, programmes and initiatives in the country and abroad.
The Summit and the Exhibition provide an excellent opportunity to Qatari R&D experts, research institutions and key industry players to participate and benefit from this global event. The focus areas identified to be represented at the event are healthcare and pharma, ICT and wireless technologies, manufacturing and production, sustainable and renewable energy, defence and security, water purification, recycle and reuse and agriculture and Biotech.
The event will be a showcase of cutting-edge R&D.
