Doha: The Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza announced that it will start Tuesday, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), the disbursement of the January batch of cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, HE Chairman of Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi said that cash assistance will be provided to about 97,000 needy families in the governorates of the Strip, at a rate of USD100 per family. He pointed out that the distribution process will take place through the United Nations at the distribution centers identified in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, which are 300 centers and shops.
