Doha: Qatar Fuel Company (Woqod) has warned its customers, contractors, and suppliers today about scam emails circulating in the name of Woqod.
On its Twitter account, Woqod said that “scammers are sending emails appearing to be from WOQOD's Procurement and Contracts Department using the fake email address [email protected] and the fake website www.woqodqatar.com"
WOQOD has affirmed that it will always invite tenders only through official announcements made by the Procurement and Contracts Department in the local newspapers or on the tender page of its website www.woqod.com.
It urged people to be vigilant to prevent such fraud and fake information on the name of WOQOD.
