Doha: Nasser bin Khalifa Al Attiyah Vice-President of FIA met Jean Todt the head of French Union and President of FIA to discuss Qatar’s preparations to host the General Assembly meetings of FIA.
The five-day meet will take place from December 1–5.
More than 237 representatives of the regional unions and clubs from all over the world are expected to attend these meetings which is to be hosted by Qatar and Middle East region in general for the first time.
The international focus will be on Doha during the General Assembly in Doha as it will witness also the end of season ceremony for different championship organised by FIA.
Doha will also host the 110 anniversary of FIA establishment.
The event will be broadcast live on different sport TV satellites all over the world, according to the organisers Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF).
Meanwhile, Al Attiyah will attend a meeting of the members of European Union for Motorcycles.
Al Attiyah will discuss several issues of vital importance to the sports with Wolfgang Srb, head of the European Union for Motorcycles.
