Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Slovenian President H E Borut Pahor inaugurated the Islamic Center in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, this afternoon.
His Highness was received by His Eminence Mufti Nefzat Boric, President of the Islamic Sheikhdom of the Republic of Slovenia. HH The Amir and the Slovenian President unveiled the "Friendship Seat", which includes a metal plate bearing the name of His Highness the Amir and the name of the Slovenian President, in the center's garden. After that, His Highness toured the mosque, cultural building, library and educational departments within the center.
The opening and the tour were attended by members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir.
