Doha: Minister of Religious Affairs and Worship of the Republic of Mali H E Mamadou Kone, and his accompanying delegation visited the General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
During the visit, the minister was briefed on the historical stages of the Qatari endowments, the most important achievements since the era of the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, until the era of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, which was established in 1993 and the issuance of the first Qatari Endowment Law in 1996 and the new one in 2021, in addition to the development in the technical and administrative programmes in force in the endowment.
